Last weekend, I desperately wanted to try double exposure photography on film for the first time. I used a Minolta X-500, MD Rokkor 35-70 f/3.5 and a roll of Kodak T-Max 100, which I shot twice (I shot the whole roll of film, rewound it, put it in again, shot the whole roll of film a second time, rewound it, had it developed). I annoyed everyone to let me take their pictures to have nice silhouettes, just to find out after I shot the roll of film that I had overexposed instead of underexposed every individual shot. What a bummer, but I think they still turned out fine in terms of exposure! Goes to show that film has a great exposure latitude, especially compared to digital. The composition is definitely experimental and in a way also arbitrary, because I had no clue which two pictures would combine in the end. Next time, I will try to deliberately pair shots, but thanks to my beautiful subjects and beautiful Styria, I think there are a few interesting ones also in this first roll, despite the exposure hiccup.
